Carol Horlock set a world fertility record as a surrogate mother.Carol is now 42 years old. For 13 years she was able to bear and give birth to nine children for childless couples. But the last childbirth made her record holder - she gave birth to triplets. Total 12 children for parents who for one reason or another could not give birth to a child.

In an interview with one of the TV shows, the woman admitted that she planned to become a surrogate mother only once, but then she could not stop. For 12 years of such work, Carol had some funny things. So, in June 2004, she gave birth to a boy for one married couple. However, later it turned out that, despite the measures taken, the child was not born from the sperm of the contracting spouse, but from Carol’s partner, Paul, with whom she has been living for nine years. The clients, of course, became very angry, but then they decided to take the child. "By law, Paul and I could have demanded a child back, but we decided that we no longer want children and, moreover, it would be unfair to these people."she says.

Carol has two daughters of her own - 16-year-old Stephanie and 13-year-old Megan.
